Was counting every minute at work today, ready to leave at 2:30 PM. You know what happens when you do that sort of thing? You get asked to stay later because the closer called in sick. It's a balancing act between living to work and working to live, y'all. I'm very happy to get the hours, but I was mentally prepared to leave earlier.

Typed that paragraph before I had a clue to which song I was picking today. "Counting Every Minute" by Foreigner came to mind because of the first sentence, but I can think of a bunch of Foreigner songs that I like better, and that's on "Inside Information" alone!

Blame it on the nice warm bath I just took. I'm relaxed. "I Don't Want to Live Without You" might come off as a poor man's "Waiting For a Girl Like You", but it's still a GOOD Foreigner power ballad. The lyrics don't come across as overly cheesy, the melody is pretty... it just works!

This song is most assuredly a sentimental favorite of mine. It belongs in this list.
