You know those days where everything is going incredibly well, and nothing can go wrong? Yeah. Today didn't start out as one of those. It was more of an "Every answer that is coming out of my mouth is turning out to be incorrect" days. A whole series of minor unpleasantries in a row rather than any one particular thing going seriously wrong.

Something that happened during my first 15 minute break summed up the vibe of the day perfectly: I went to the break room microwave to put pop tarts in for 20 seconds, but there was nothing nearby to place them on. I turn around to get some napkins from a nearby table, and go back to the microwave to discover that someone has placed ramen noodles in for 3 minutes as they are talking on their cell phone. Sure, it wasn't anything major, but it seemed like par for the course at the time.

I was determined to attempt a positive outlook so my entire day wouldn't go sour. Thankfully, things started to turn around at lunchtime when I received some words of encouragement from Facebook friends, and when I decided to listen to "Kandy Pop" on repeat play for the majority of my lunch break.

So, this is the song that helped me get through a day that had the potential to be fairly rotten.

I thought this song was high energy, but I had no idea. Manda Rin might have exploded if she had any more energy in this live performance clip on YouTube.
