Another fun acoustic show with Buffalo Jones tonight. I enjoy sharing a stage with Jason Johnson.

Initially, "American Girl" wasn't a favorite of mine at all. I can still name a few Tom Petty songs that I like more, but learning to play this song in Buffalo Jones made me appreciate it more.

We didn't have a setlist tonight, so Jason kept taking my suggestions. I think I surprised myself when I recommended our cover of this song tonight. It's further proof that my opinion of the song has been improving with time.
