The Spinto Band - "Direct to Helmet"

"Direct to Helmet" was a Songfight title in 2004 and Carol Cleveland Sings won the fight that week.

Listen to the song, and then listen to the Spinto Band's "Direct to Helmet". Yep, it's the same song!

While I don't know the specifics, I do believe it's most of the same people too. "Brown Boxes" and "So Kind, Stacy" were also SongFight! titles, and songs appear on "Nice and Nicely Done" with the same titles.

In case you're curious, they are also the same compositions. The Carol Cleveland Sings versions serve as cool demo versions, really.
